VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1941 Chevrolet Master Deluxe for sale in Phoenix, Arizona

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is happy to offer this restored 1941 Chevrolet Master Deluxe marketed on consignment with our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. Initially offered in 2-door coupe/2 and 4-door sedan/2-door pickup body styles, the “Deluxe range was added in 1940 to appeal to customers who wanted better equipped vehicles. While many surviving cars from this era ended up as hot rods, this ‘41 was thoroughly frame-off restored to stock specifications by the previous owner with complete photographic documentation of the build. According to the sellers paperwork this vehicle originally rolled off the assembly line in Kansas City, MO in June 1941. The all-steel body painted in Burgundy looks classy and theres a lot to set your eyes on in terms of styling details from the fender-mounted headlights, stainless steel trim, chrome bumpers, split windshield and whitewall tires. The engine of choice for the Chevrolet Deluxe model line in 1941 was the 216 CID Inline 6 with an estimated factory output of 90 horsepower. This motor has clearly been rebuilt and repainted, although Gateway Classic Cars has not verified if it is the “numbers matching unit. As with many automobiles from this era, a 3-speed manual transmission with the shifter located on the column (otherwise known as a “three-on-the-tree) helps this 1941 Chevy get down the road at your own pace. Inside the Master Deluxe is a well equipped interior that has been fully reupholstered in Tan carpet and cloth with Beige bench seating. The inside window trim, dashboard and steering column have all been repainted in “Aztec Brown which was period correct. Two sunshades are available for driver and passenger and theres a gauge set to go with the speedometer also. It may have cost just $767 USD to buy this 1941 Chevrolet Master Deluxe 2-door sedan from the showroom floor but sadly we have inflation and classic car value that gives us the sticker on this 41- theres a lot of dollars and hours here and it always makes more financial sense to buy over build.
