The AMX was also classified as a muscle car but differed from other American cars at the time because of its short wheelbase. The name AMX is an acronym for American Motors eXperimental, which was a code assigned to concept vehicles in the mid-sixties. With a short three-year production run the AMX is one of the more exotic and rare muscle cars. This one makes quite the statement with its gunmetal shade of gray paint covering the cool and vintage bodylines.
