The Fairlane was introduced by the Dearborn automaker in in 1955 to replace the “Crestline model name and was the top trim level among Ford sedans above the Mainline and Customline. 56 models like this one featured only subtle exterior changes from 55 but Fords decision to upgrade the lineup to 12-volt capability opened up a multitude of new convenience options available to buyers. This example is painted in a delightful Seafoam Green/White paintjob with chrome trim everywhere you look.
