It started as a low original mileage long bed and the owner decided to overhaul with work that shortened the length by 17 inches, sanded and smoothed the body to take out any imperfections and re-shot the paint in Corvette “Opulent Blue Metallic. Thats not all that upgrades the stance of this truck either- the cowl hood, powder-coated black bumpers/trim/grille and Moto Metal custom wheels look awesome. The original 454 CID big block V8 engine was pulled and rebuilt with new cams and head work, with the firewall smoothed and repainted in the process for a cleaner engine compartment. FiTech fuel injection, an Edelbrock manifold, and exhaust headers feeding dual exit pipes provide some further performance upgrades. The original transmission has been swapped out for a 700R4 4-speed unit with overdrive. The interior of this 1985 K-Series pickup features a stock look but hides some cool upgrades. Reupholstered Black cloth/vinyl bucket seats up front and additional seating for three in the back provide great utility for a pickup truck while the aftermarket digital gauges that fill the factory instrument cluster is a nice touch.
