Chevrolet made the Bel air from 1950-1975 and few realize that it had 7 generations during those 2.5 decades! Chevrolet was on fire with sales leading into the 5th generation and that success was only to continue. What you have here is a 1962 model, the 2nd year of gen 5. Specific distinctions were dropped for the wagons and they were grouped under the Bel Air moniker. This 62 is far from what rolled off the factory floor as it is a Restomod. Treated to a full frame off restoration and upgraded. More on that soon. As you walk around the car you see the nice Bronze and White Sherwin Williams paint. The cool matte finish look along with the great lines of the car really draws you in. The saddle leather interior is absolutely stunning! The bench seat provides a bucket seat feel with the built in console with cupholders. Under the hood is the well renowned LS1 5.7L V8 coupled to a 4L80E automatic transmission with a 3:73 rear end. Time for the additional highlighted upgrades. Frame and suspension components have been sandblasted and powder coated. Cpp A-arms, front and rear disc brakes, booster and master cylinder, gear box, raptor liner underbody, Brian Tooley cam, lifters and valve springs. The transmission has a shift kit and stall converter. Car has new glass, new bumpers, Dakota digital gauges, custom stereo system, Bluetooth, vintage air conditioning and heat, Ididit column and Lecarra wheel. The 18 and 20 2-piece Torque Thrust wheels give the car a great stance! Wagons are hot right now, and you certainly wont see another like this one while driving down the road.
