VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1929 Ford Model A for sale in Kenosha, Wisconsin

Gateway Classic Cars is excited to present this 1929 Ford Model A pickup at our Milwaukee location. The Model A was manufactured from 1927-1931. It was the second success story after the Model T for Ford. Originally it was available in four standard colors. By 1930 Model a Sales topped three million and was offered in nine body styles. By the end of its production run in 1932 over 48 million units were sold. The engine was a water cooled inline four with a displacement of a 201 cu in. The transmission was a conventional unsynchronized three speed sliding gear manual. The model A incorporated four-wheel mechanical brakes. It was also the first vehicle to have safety glass in the windshield. Our 1929 Ford Model A pickup is a fine example of Fords ingenuity in making a reliablework horse for the masses. You bought a Model A truck with just a cab and had your bed specially designed to fit you individual needs. This model a truck was restored in 2015. Painted in gorgeous teal with black fender and running boards. The yellow wire wheels are the accent to the body colors. Chrome bumpers and grille along with a wood bed and stake rails really makes this truck a site to behold. Under the hood is the 201 cu in 4 attached to a three speed sliding gear manual. The interior is redone with brown Naugahyde. A new guage cluster has been installed. This 1929 Ford Model A pickup even has a flying goose radiator cap, soring this truck into its new life as a retired show queen.
