The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured from March 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustangs styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition. It was initially introduced on April 17, 1964, as a hardtop and convertible with the fastback version released later in August 1964. Although the early Mustangs came with a straight six cylinder or small block V8, This 1965 Ford Mustang fastback is powered by a 427 V8 engine paired to a 4-speed manual transmission, this car is set up to perform. Under the hood of this fastback you will notice that no expense was spared, it has Wilwood Brake mater-cylinder, a Billet reservoir, Ford Cobra valve covers, aluminum radiator with electric fan, and MSD distributor system. This Mustang is themed with black inside and a nice Orange exterior. Painted in Orange with a custom tear drop hood to help clear the velocity stacks. Looking closely at the exterior you will notice that the light hood is made of fiberglass, with rear side scoops to get air to the velocity stacks. The interior is in like new condition with tons of upgrades that include a new vintage style cluster gauge.
