Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale stable is pleased to offer this great looking 1970 Ford Mach-1 Mustang, in a highly desirable bright red on black scheme. This steed was born a REAL Mach-1 on April 24, 1970 according to the Marti Report. It came with a 351 Cleveland, black hood stripe, rear spoiler, FMX Cruise-O-Matic, raised white letter tires, sport slats, and AM/8 Track stereo radio. The engine has received several improvements including a 4-bbl setup, sweet cam with a nice gallop at idle, and lots of other goodies to make it really pop when you open the hood. The trans has been gone through, and the original 3-0 rear gear has been upgraded to a nice 3:70-1 posi-traction. Brakes also received renewal. This is a nice-looking driver, perfect for the occasional cruise & blast from the past. Things really changed in 71, making these earlier smaller Mustangs very desirable.
