Debuting in 1993, the Mark VIII was put on the same FN Platform as the Ford Thunderbird/Mercury Cougar but you would be forgiven for thinking otherwise as the styling is streets ahead of its FoMoCo cousins. For the final two years of production (97 and 98), the Mark VIII received a significant facelift featuring an all-aluminum hood, larger front grille and a neon brake-light that ran across the entire rear decklid. Of course, the most memorable feature of the Mark VIII is the subtle “spare tire hump that was a nod to Continental Kit Lincolns of the past. Styling is one thing but what is perhaps most desirable on this modern Lincoln is its motor- an all-aluminum, 32 valve, dual overhead cam 4.6l “Intech V8 that was good for 290hp on this dual exhaust model. This Charcoal Green Metallic painted Lincoln gets no less interesting inside, with a cushy Beige leather interior focused on comfort and driver orientation. A centrally-situated information system monitors everything you might need to know while operating this Lincoln and the radio/climate controls are easily accessible for the driver too. This Mark VIII has had two owners from new and was most recently part of a large Lincoln collection- it comes with every piece of paperwork you need including original sales paperwork, maintenance history and more.
