It was the new coming of competition against the iconic Ford mustang. This year came with newly designed fenders, doors and quarter panels. The standard grill was restyled with sharper angles and this year was the first year for variable ratio steering. No longer 100% stock, this American Muscle car is bathed in GM hugger orange paint with the classic twin rally stripes. This beautiful beast offers a small block Chevrolet V8 with aluminum heads, long tube headers, Edelbrock Victor Jr. aluminum intake topped by a Holley 4BBL carb, MSD 6AL ignition, a mild race cam to give it that muscle car rumble, and an upgraded aluminum radiator with twin electric cooling fans. This potent small block is backed by automatic transmission with a shift kit that really snaps off the shifts. This piece of American history sits on some nice chrome mag wheels that are wrapped by 225/45R17 radials up front, and 275/45R17 radials out back. The interior boasts some modern leather front seats out of a 2006 Z06 Corvette, and synthetic leather vinyl bench in the rear. It also has a nice set of Auto Meter gauges to help the driver monitor key engine functions. The car also features Wilwood disc brakes up front for that extra stopping power.
