All 1982 Corvettes received the bulletproof 350 V8 with Crossfire Injection. The Cross Fire Injection set up was a controversial release as history tends to repeat itself as we all recall the controversial Fuelie Fuel Injected option available in the early 60s. Although the Cross Fire Injection was a hate it or love it setup, this is definitely a Corvette that will surge in value. 1982 the Corvette marked the last year of the Third Generation. This Corvette marked Chevrolets first fuel injected engine for the first time in 17 years. The new 700R4 transmission came with a lower first and second gear for quicker acceleration and a 4th gear overdrive that lowered engine rpm by 30% on the highway. This Corvette has stood the test of time through proper care and careful storage with roughly 58,000 carefully driven miles. This particular Corvette stands out in beautiful bright teal metallic and to this day looks amazing. The interior is a gray leather that looks great and features a Pioneer AM/FM CD player which adds the perfect touch to this classic cruiser.
