The imposing front grille that resembles Lincoln Continental models from the same era makes this Marquis, painted in “Medium Yellow with a White Landau top, recognizable and check out those headlight covers too- so 70s! Fords 460 CID V8 engine is the powerplant under the hood on this 1977 Mercury. With a 4-bbl carburetor, it achieved an estimated 197hp and 353lb ft of torque on this very car when it rolled off the showroom floor and has only traveled 70,000 miles since then (according to the seller- unverified by Gateway Classic Cars). Getting this cruiser through the gears is a Ford C6 3-speed automatic transmission with the shifter located on the column.
