This car underwent a full frame off, nut and bolt, restoration that nearly took 7 years due to every non original part being replaced with NOS parts (new old stock). Simply by looking at the fit and finish of this car explains the quality of the build. The car has had about 100 miles on it since being finished! Powering this dream machine is a crate GM 383 Stroker V8 engine with a Dart block and aluminum heads. This new engine is mated to a Tremec TKO-600 5 speed transmission that pushes the power to the ground through a HD driveshaft, HD driveshaft carrier bearing, and Ford 9 rear with 4:10 gears. During the restoration the floor pan and firewalls were sound deadened for heat and sound reduction from road noise. The stainless steel and aluminum have been all repolished or replaced with NOS parts. Looking under this car shows how fresh the build is and how no expense was spared. This car is sitting on an adjustable RideTech suspension system, Hotchkis sway bars, Wilwood 6 piston front and 4 piston rear brakes, slotted and drilled Wilwood rotors, Adjustable QA1 rear shocks, upper and lower tubular control arms, and the whole car can be raised or lowered by the under dash mounted controls. Walking around this true beauty you instantly notice the two-toned paint theme of California Orange and off white. The Orange has some pearl in it and shines bright in the sunlight. The color flows nicely with the custom Tan cloth interior and offset 19 front and 20 rear Billet Specialty wheels. The current owner is the builder and out of the 10 years that they had it, 7 were spent doing the restore.
