With a virtually brand new 383 cubic inch V8 shoveling power through a new B&M TH400 3-speed automatic transmission with a 2800RPM stall, this 430hp Chevelle is a beast. A custom exhaust system is kept fairly mild but open the electric cut-outs and you can really hear this beast growl! The red-line bias ply tires look great and keep a period-correct feel on this classic muscle car. Lots of love and parts have gone into this Chevelle during the build process. As mentioned, the engine is as fresh as it gets, with less than 1500 break-in miles. A 3.73 limited slip rear axle sits out back. The interior was completely stripped from the cabin and a layer of “Lizard Skin sound deadening and heat block was added to the floors. After that, and entire new black interior was fitted to the vehicle for a clean appearance inside and out. A 4 cowl hood was added to achieve a more aggressive look. A new steering box was fitted, as was a new master cylinder to keep as much control in the drivers hands (and feet) as possible. Being an Arizona car originally, the body is in fantastic shape and is very solid. With plenty of power and good looks for days, this Chevelle will make you the envy of all your friends.
