Rightly so as they were on the cusp of an incredible decade! Made for only 1 year the Crestline Skyliner rolled off the line with only 13,144 sold models. This new car offered a very cool feature that was integrated, acrylic green-tinted panel glass above the front seating. It was touted as offering a “freshness of view. It most certainly does, a unique feature for the time. Ford offered two options for the motor and both had overhead valves; a 3.5L V6 or a 3.9L V8. This example has the 8-cylinder motor. Mated to 3-speed manual trans that we know today as 3 on the tree; makes for a fun drive! The 115-inch wheelbase offers a comfortable ride and easy to control. The yellow and white two-tone exterior provides a classy look to this nice cruiser. This Skyliner is a good driver quality car.
