Lincoln has a long-standing reputation of producing top notch American luxury cars and this red-orange metallic beauty shows as a great example of how Lincoln got to that point and stature. The Continental was considered to be the larger bodied vehicle among the lineup and came equipped with a Zephyr V12 which was very powerful at the time and supplied plenty of toque to move the heavy vehicle along. This Lincoln has had a 368 cubic inch V8 out of a later model Lincoln transplanted under the hood which adds more power than the 12 cylinders did as well as offering a more modern take on the engine technology and maintenance. The V8 transfers its power to the rear wheels through a 3-speed manual transmission mounted on the column giving the driver the full feel of driving a car in the 30s and 40s. To the surprise of many, this car comes equipped with power windows as well showing that this Lincoln was one well ahead of its time. The large bodied beauty comes complete with a continental kit on the back which is regarded as a high option for cars of this era and is rare to find intact.
