VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1971 Chevrolet Nova for sale in Dearborn, Michigan

Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is proud to offer you this extremely well-built 1971 Chevrolet Nova! At the turn of the key, you will quickly realize that this 71 Nova is all about its business and is nothing short of a full interior race car! No expense was spared when building this machine. A 12-point roll cage and Monocoque polished aluminum wheels wrapped in Goodyear drag slicks and front runners are the only signs of this car being a total badass. The interior of this car is equipped with the original bench seat which has been modified to hold a three-point harness, along with full original dash and functional backseat! Freshly painted in a slick black, this car has it all, you can take it to your local show and win some awards or take it to the track to beat on all the local Mopars and Fords. This Nova is equipped with a heart pounding and monster of an engine, a 572 cubic inch crate motor straight from GM that pumps out a whopping 720 horsepower! You will be heard when driving this beast thanks to the full 5 exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. A built Turbo400 transmission is attached to that monstrous motor and has some great added goodies like trans-brake, manual valve body, and trans cooler to ensure all that added power is being handled correctly. The fuel system consists of Barry Grant Electric Fuel Pumps and pressure regulator with pressure gauges, a ProSystems Domiantor Carburetor, and a fuel cell located in the trunk. This car has also been plumbed for nitrous but has never been put on the bottle. The brake system consists of Wilwood disc brakes at all 4 corners of the car, anyone that knows good brakes knows that Wilwood is top of the line. The rear end is a Dana 60 equipped with 4:10 gears and 40 spline axles to get this Nova up and going quickly. The suspension has been modified with Moroso front coils, Landrum rear multi-leafs, and Competition Engineering traction bars to ensure all that power gets to the ground. A Griffin aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and a B&M polished aluminum electric water pump put in work to keep this powerful engine nice and cool. If you are in the market for a car that can all around do it all, this ones for you! You can impress everyone with the looks, and then really intimidate them and the turn of a key.
