Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to offer a One-Owner rugged 1967 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45LV. Toyota sits in the off-road enthusiasts hall of fame thanks to this vehicle. Toyota rolled out the FJ40 series in 1960 and competed with the likes of Land Rovers, Jeeps, and later the Ford Bronco and Chevrolet K10. The FJ45 was a rugged, 4x4 vehicle with amazing off-road capabilities, and rather primitive interior treatments. FJs came without carpet, and with vinyl upholstery so even if youre out in the mud and in the elements, theyre easy to keep clean. This 1967 FJ45LV is one of only 1,000 left hand drive built between 1963 and 1967 built by Gifu Auto Body Company in Japan. Under the hood of this particular Land Cruiser youll find a 3.9L inline six-cylinder engine paired with a 3-speed manual transmission and a 4x4 transfer case. Stout axles front and rear and Cooper Discoverer off-road tires will take this thing just about anywhere you want to go. With some minor dent repair of the original body panels and a re-paint in a two-tone blue and white, this Landcruiser looks like new again. All the underside and frame was rust free and the control arms were replaced. The interior was restored with two tone tan seats, new matching carpet and door panels, and drivers side sun visor. This FJ would make a great weekend runabout or a daily driver, and will put most new 4x4s to shame off pavement. Vintage 4x4s are in high demand, and most have rusted away to nothing. Luckily this Toyota has been well preserved and is ready for many more years of duty.
