Gateway Classic Cars is excited to produce this 1997 Pontiac Trans Am Comp T/A for sale at the Milwaukee Showroom. There have been quite a few iterations of the F-Body style vehicles that may strike people as special, but this car truly takes the cake. SLP performance had played a hand in special edition F-body cars that included the Camaro SS, the Firebird Firehawk, and then they made this; the Comp T/A. This package included the 350 cubic inch LT1 V8 which was fed in through a ram air induction system. The LT1 was bolted to a 6-speed manual transmission which transferred its power back to a Torsen limited slip differential featuring a 3:42 gear ratio. Only 164 of these cars were produced total in a few years time and this is a #152 according to the SLP registry making this a pretty rare car compared to the other products SLP has out in the world. The Trans Am is equipped with air conditioning, T-Tops, AM/FM radio with CD player, power seats, power windows, anti-lock brakes, tilt wheel, power mirrors, power locks, keyless entry, and cruise control clearly displaying that this car was extremely well equipped for its time.
