Gateway Classic Cars is thrilled in producing this 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle for sale at the Milwaukee Showroom. The Chevelle already has prominent stature among the muscle car era, but this one takes things above the call of being a run-of-the-mill performance machine. Underneath the hood of this gloss black beauty lies a 454 cubic inch big block V8 which has been bored .040 over and topped with a Wieand polished blower. This beast of a motor pushes its hefty exhale through a set of longtube headers that come out through a true dual 3 stainless exhaust with an H-pipe. The power of the motor is transferred back through a Tremec 6-speed manual back to a built 10 bolt rear end which features a Posi 3:73 rear gear ratio. This axle is held in place by a set of heavy-duty ladder bars while the front end is kept from flexing with a tubular K-member. The Chevelles looks are set off in a subtle way with a red stripe going up the side and kept incognito by a set of hub cap style wheels which are wrapped in performance radials for when its time to get down and boogie. The Chevy features power brakes, power steering, seat belts, AM/FM radio with cassette making for one easy to operate muscle beast.
