The 1968 Chevy Impala for sale in our Louisville showroom. The 1968 impala was a much slicker car than the original 58. Big and tons of chrome the impala was the sign of wealth for years. The impala was most notable with its ss option. 68 would offer that option still but more people were intrigued by the custom. It looked like a notch back mustang VS the fastback style and people loved the fastback style, but the custom was new and different which many people liked as well. This was the last year for one of GM; s most successful runs the 327 small block pushrod engine. Used in everything from the corvette to their full-size truck offering for its dependability. This very clean and original custom has had one repaint over the years back to the original paint color and she looks great. With all the trim and chrome in well maintained condition this 68 needs only one thing a driver. The black clot h and vinyl interior looks great in the car and really makes the light green paint pop. Under the hood the original well maintained 327 is still in between the frame rails and appears to be well taken care of as well. The original 3-speed automatic is till great shape handling the power and torque shifting thru all 3 gears without a hitch. The radial tires are in great condition.
