1964 Ford falcon wagon is for sale in our Louisville KY show room. The falcon was Fords entry to the new and up and coming compact market which was growing in Europe. Though Ford had made smaller cars for the European market in the 30s they were never available for the American market. Marketed This alongside the falcon was the mercury meteor a little more of a sophisticated option. This wagon is a low mileage great example of what these cars were. With only having miles this wagon still retains all its original sheet metal owned by 2 individuals. The original was recently rebuilt and runs exceptionally well with plenty of power to get this wagon down the road. The cruise omatic transmission shifts thru both gears with no hesitation and with the rear end having a 389 gear the car can run good 55 MPH speeds without over revving. Roll the back glass down and relive the youth when we use to ride in the back. I dont know if its legal now, but it was a great time back then so probably not. The blue paint is mainly original with only a couple touch up spots. The wood siding is a nice touch and really make people look twice.
