The Shelby line of Mustangs were purpose-built race cars using a highly modified 289 with a large 4 barrel and a hi rise They were all 4 speed cars with a 9 inch rear-end. The biggest difference yet was the suspension on the se ponies. With traction bars and relocated A - arms. The cars were made to handle. Taking over the scca this road courses. This ragoon red beauty has painted gold stripes that really bring out the red in the paint. The wrapped rear spoiler goes all the way across the back and gives this fastback a very modern aggressive look. With the fastback having a much sportier look than the notch back.
