Gateway Classic Cars is excited in presenting this 2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 for sale at the Milwaukee Showroom. Over the years there has been an increasing popularity for car manufacturers to come out with 2-wheel drive sport trucks including the Ford Lightning, Ford Tremor, Chevy Silverado SS, or the Toyota Tacoma X-Runner among many more makes and builds. The SRT-10 came in as an over the top way of replacing the Dodge Ram SST which was their sport truck but in a different body style. The SRT-10 utilized the 3rd generation Ram body style introduced to the half-ton trucks in 2002 but came built form the factory as an absolute performance monster. This claim is backed by the 8.3-liter V10 found under the hood of this truck found in common with the Dodge Viper pushing 505 horsepower. Being that this is a single cab version of the SRT, this truck comes operated by a smooth shifting 6-speed manual Tremec transmission. The driveline goes back to a Dana 60 rear axle which packs a limited slip differential and 4:56 gears from the factory, which as a whole showed a massive improvement over the Chrysler 9.25 rear axle that would typically be found on half-ton model trucks. This mean combination of a drivetrain resulted in a full-size pickup truck that was capable of 0-60mph speed under 5 seconds. As if the stock performance of this truck was not enough, a Flowmaster exhaust system has been added to improve flow and supply the truck with a deep throaty note at idle paired with a mean screaming sound under load. The Ram also comes as a commemorative edition which was a package that came with a white painted exterior with blue super stripes going down the middle as well as a few other extras which included 22 Viper styled wheels.
