Back in the 60s Carrol Shelby changed the game when he introduced the wildly successful Shelby Cobra to the racing scene. Since then Shelby has created an ever-lasting legacy of fans appreciating the timeless design of the Shelby Cobra.This car has been restored from top to bottom over the last 18 months and it shows. With only 400 miles since being rebuilt, this 65 Cobra is like brand new. This Cobra was built at the Dreamcar Company and man did they deliver on the dream. Getting right to the heart of this awesome Cobra, it is powered by a massive 1966 428 FE motor and a 5-speed TKO 600 Tremec Transmission. Helping put all that power to the ground is a Ford 9 rear end. This car is estimated to be putting about 600 HP to the ground even though it weighs less than 2000lbs. You can figure out real quick that this car is all go. The test drive video was fun to say the least. The 428 FE motor was removed, stripped and re cammed. This Cobra has a new Quick fuel carb, new clutch, new shocks, new steering rack, new alternator, and new battery. While the engine was out the whole engine bay was refurbished, repainted and new heat shielding was added. The power plant of this car is only half of what makes this car what it is. This car was taken down to bare fiberglass and refinished. Every curve and line has been straightened to perfection and every gap is flawless. The show quality finish in Azzuro California Blue is second to none. This car was given 5 layers of clear coat to give it the deepest blue you ever seen. Beautiful ghost stripes give it that Cobra look with a modern touch. While being finished this awesome 65 Cobra was given stainless cuffs around the base of the roll bars, stainless heat shield on the exhaust pipe, as well as new headlights and white turn signals. But wait theres more! The interior in this awesome 65 Cobra was completely redone as well with brand new Kirkey Bucket Seats, full fitted Bentley carpet, new dashboard, steering wheel and shift lever. When all is said and done this is one of the cleanest 65 Cobra Replicas you will ever see. Clean and mean should be this Cobras nickname.
