Toyota rolled out the FJ40 series in 1960 and competed with the likes of Land Rovers, Jeeps, and later the Ford Bronco and Chevrolet K10. The FJ45 was a rugged, two door, 4x4 vehicle with amazing off road capabilities, and rather primitive interior treatments. The hard top is removable so open air cruising is a possibility. FJs came without carpet, and with vinyl upholstery so even if youre out in the mud and in the elements, theyre easy to keep clean. Under the hood of this particular Land Cruiser youll find the venerable Toyota 2F 4.2L Inline 6 with 3 Speed Manual on the floor and a 4x4 transfer case. Stout axles front and rear and BFG off-road tires will take this thing just about anywhere you want to go. With a restoration done in 2009, This off-road gladiator now sports power steering.
