This 1969 Dodge Dart is now stealing eyes and capturing hearts as it is offered for sale at the Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars. The whole Mopar brand has a long-standing legacy of producing angry horsepower driven muscle machines. From the moment you catch sight of this metallic orange paint job which is outfitted with matched ghost flames, youre bound to come to the conclusion that this car sets the standard of not to be messed with. Under the custom cowl induction hood lies a 400 RB/B V8 that has been bored and stroked out to a hefty 452 cubic inches. The angry V8 is built and composed with Eagle forged H-beam rods, Eagle forged crankshaft, JE forged flat top pistons, a Comp Cams solid roller camshaft with a 286/292 duration and a .600 valve lift, Edelbrock aluminum heads which feature 88cc combustion chambers, and Edelbrock Torker intake manifold, and its all topped with a 750 CFM double pump Holley carburetor custom modified by CSU dumping fuel into this performance monster. It also features a 250HP capable NOS system.The V8 makes its exhale through a set of set of Hedman Hustler Race Headers which feature 2 primary runners which combine at a 3 collector and all this flow back to a set of Flowmaster mufflers making for a mean classic muscle car sound. The power plant is backed up by a built 727 Torqueflight 3-speed automatic transmission with reverse manual valve body operated by a quarter stick style shifter which transfers power back to a Chrysler 8 3/4 rear end featuring a 3:90 gear ratio. The result of all this; a monstrous power machine putting down over 600 horsepower and intimidation to the opposing lane from the moment you turn the key. The Dart is also outfitted with CalTrac adjustable traction bars, Wilwood disc brakes all the way around, sub frame connectors, and a limited slip differential ensuring that this car will hook up and be on the safer side while doing so as well as stopping. The Dodge also features power brakes, power steering, and tilt wheel which makes this a lot easier and stress free to operate. This Dart should not last long as the market for Mopars are hot, much less to a fully built monster that has been done properly and has proven performance.
