VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1941 Cadillac Series 62 for sale in Phoenix, Arizona

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is now able to offer a rare 1941 Cadillac 62 Series Deluxe Coupe survivor. A tremendous find with only Roughly 1700 of these cars produced and very few having survived, makes this 41 Cadillac an excellent value as a collector for years to come. As you marvel at the history represented by an original ration sticker and a Pearl Harbor remembrance in the window, its no wonder Cadillac Quality still lives on today! The original black paint combined with being the only Cadillac 62 Series Deluxe Coupe that I have seen with a full red leather interior-which appears original, including some rare options and features not usually found on these cars. Under the hood this 1941 Cadillac boasts a beautifully running 346 CID V8 Monobloc engine with a 3-spd on the column selective synchromesh manual transmission that sounds and runs as smooth as a sewing machine. The car has performed well over the years and has been regularly maintained, as it runs and drives exceptionally well, this classic caddy is ready to be enjoyed immediately. Styling was heavily emphasized for 41, and when new these opulent Cadillacs emerged looking quite distinctive. The prow-nose motif of the Thirties was gone, replaced by a blunter and more imposing frontal design that was highlighted by a dramatic horizontal egg crate grille - a theme that has been continued to this day. That, plus the coffin-nose-style hood (evidence of the industry-wide effect of Cord styling), and the headlights integrated into the broader fenders, separated it from all Cadillacs that had gone before. Meanwhile, a three-piece front bumper guard (one horizontal) provided a cove to protect the license plate while sporting the optional rare fog lights on either side. At the rear, fenders show squarer, the left taillight hides the gas-filler cap, and twin vertical bars divide the rear window into three segments. Three horizontal chrome speed stripes on the front and rear fenders of this model, help promote the theory of movement while standing still. An Arizona car for most of its life, makes for a desired collectable and a valued investment, making this car a certain standout at any gathering of important cars.
