Prior to 1987 The Avanti Company was owned by its 3rd owner, Michael E. Kelly and was acquired in 1987 by John J. Cafaro, with some financial assistance by the state of Ohio. John moved the production of the Avantis to Youngstown Ohio. In 1988-1989 Avanti made either Two door coupes or Convertibles. This well maintained and clean example (Fiberglass Body= no rust on body) has the wood grain dash and console. It has a power Convertible top. Both Driver/ Passenger power seats, as well as: Power Steering, power locks, power windows. Power Disc Brakes in the front, Heater and A/C, Radio W/ CD, Cruise Control, Tilt Steering Wheel.
