The Monte Carlo SS featured a 305 cubic inch small block V8 bolted to a TH200 4-speed automatic transmission with electronic overdrive which made for easy operation paired with a smooth riding take on reliability. The Monte we have sitting before us is an Aerocoupe, which is most noticeable by the rear window having more of a “bubble-like design offering a more aerodynamic look on the car while not taking away from its already muscular look and stance. The black paint on the outside is accompanied by red SS graphics and striping giving a contrasted mean looking appearance.
