VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1986 Chevrolet El Camino for sale in Kenosha, Wisconsin

Gateway Classic Cars is excited to add this classy 1986 Chevrolet El Camino to our Milwaukee showroom. This El Camino had a frame on restoration 6,000 miles ago with its tastefully appointed gray/ silver paint scheme and masculine American Racing Torq Thrust mag wheels, putting this El Camino in a league of its own. Produced from 1959-1960 and 1964-1987 the EL Camino was introduced by General Motors to compete with the Ford Ranchero. In the first two years of production the EL Camino was adapted from a two-door station wagon platform that integrated the cab and cargo bed into one continuous body. From 1964-1977 the EL Camino shared its platform with the Chevrolet Chevelle and from 1978-1987 it was produced on the GM G-body. This 1986 El Camino a fine example of the coupe two-door pickup. Besides its fantastic two-tone paint scheme, the luxurious velour burgundy bucket seat interior features almost all the options available in 1986. Options such as floor shifter console, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, air conditioning and cruise control. Many aftermarket products have been added including a Kenwood stereo, Grant steering wheel, gauge package, Rhino bed liner, and new tonneau cover. The El Camino is powered by a 305 cubic inch small block V-8 attached to a three-speed automatic transmission. All of this is resting on a new set of Nitto tires (700 Miles) that are mounted on new American Racing alloy rims. The Chevrolet El Camino might have been discontinued in 1987, but it has surely found a place in American truck history. We are proud to offer this 1986 Chevrolet El Camino as fine example of the “Heart-beat of America. This 1986 Chevrolet El Camino is at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video.
