This particular 62 will never see the farm again, after undergoing a complete full body off, nut and bolt restoration. Thats correct, she began her life on a farm, as a 2wd truck. During the father and son 4-year restoration, they decided to take a 1978 Scottsdale 4X4 and put that chassis and drive-line under this 62. While this was taking place - they decided to have the rear ends, transmission, and transfer case all rebuilt. They also got their hands on a 1970 350 V-8 out of a Corvette - and had that rebuilt as well. The consignor states she bought this beauty from this duo, and has less than 5,000-miles on her since built. All the trim, emblems, and bumpers have either been replaced, or re-chromed, and just set this truck off! She is a real looker - whether its the paint, stance, or the wheels - you just gotta look! They thought it beneficial to keep the original bed wood - to show that she was not worked too hard on her farm life. Pop open the hood and see a well detailed engine bay, with aluminum intake, chrome air cleaner, and set of headers. The engine is paired to a 4-speed manual transmission, with granny 1st gear. The interior was treated to a matching Red & White 2-tone paint scheme, as well as a vinyl bench seat, and updated gages. She was also updated by the addition of power steering, power brakes, am/fm/cd stereo, and Eagle Alloys directional wheels, Yokohama Geolander A/T-S 33 x 12.50R15 radial tires.
