This little Shelby is brought to life by a new 1997 Ford 351 Windsor with Trick Flow aluminum heads, SVO lock down rockers, Comp cam and lifters, SVO intake, SVO water pump, 9:1 compression ratio, Holley 650 Carb, Canton oil pan, Cobra valve covers, GM alternator, all stainless lines with Russell fittings, MSD Billet distributor, mini starter, aluminum bell housing, mated to a 1997 5 speed Tremac Manual transmission, and the list goes on and on, making this gorgeous 1966 A/C Cobra Replica so much fun to hit the road in. There is so much information on the build that it would be impossible to list it all here. The Frame is 2 x 4 tubular steel construction, with all burs removed and rubber strips along all the rails for a quieter ride. The Rear End is a 1966 8.8 Ford Mustang that was purchased new. The Front end consists of upper and lower tubular D arms from Heidts painted to match the frame, spindles from a Mustang II. The interior has Steward Warner Deluxe gauges that include fuel pressure gauge, a 5.0 Pro Shifter, gray leather thick grip steering wheel from LeCarra with a Cobra horn button, a MOMO “Combat shifter handle, gray vinyl covered dash, Badger Coach Works Mercedes agate carpet installation, and thats just the tip of the iceberg.. This Cobra build is AMAZING and in excellent condition. The fiberglass work and the paint finish are done with extreme quality. These cars are only as nice as the builder makes them.
