Whats most amazing about these cars in my opinion is the level of performance the Demon has considering how similar it appears to a base model Challenger (except for that huge ‘Air Grabber hood scoop!). Despite the Satanic references in the name of this car, our Demon for sale comes in a rather calming shade of rare B5 Blue Pearl-Coat. Inside, youll be greeted with the Customer Preferred Package that includes black leather front and rear seats as well as the usual array of options we have come to expect with modern vehicles such as Apple and Android connectivity, a voice command system and an 8.4 inch display screen in the center console. The business end of this car is obviously whats stored in the Demons layer- a 6.2l Supercharged HEMI V8 engine capable of a ridiculous 808hp and 717lb-ft of torque. However, every Demon comes with a race kit that (when everything is fitted) pushes the power to 840hp and 770lb-ft. An 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission and a rear end geared to 3.09 (lower than the Hellcats 2.62) back the engine up for optimal performance. This particular Demon is a ONE OWNER vehicle with just 983 miles on the odometer. Thats right, its basically never driven. The owner has included every piece of documentation/accessory that came with the car including the Demon car cover, build sheet, Sales sheet, front and rear floor mats and the spare keys/owners manuals. I dont know how the current owner resisted driving this car, but its sure a great selling point that you are essentially getting a showroom condition vehicle here. This very limited-production car (#2775 of 3,300) (ONLY 148 B5 Demons Exist.) features the hellacious 6.2-liter HEMI Demon V8 delivering 840 supercharged horses and 770 pound-feet of torque. Its touted as the first street-legal production drag car and has been certified as the worlds fastest quarter-mile production vehicle. During tests, the Demon covered a quarter-mile in 9.65 seconds at 140 miles per hour and accelerated from zero to 60 mph in a mind-blowing 2.3 seconds. This SRT Demon comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, drag radial tires, launch control, an adaptive suspension with a special drag mode, automatic HID headlamps, the widebody Challenger body style, proximity entry and push-button start, dual-zone climate control, a rearview camera, a 6-way power drivers seat, cloth upholstery, an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, the 8.4-in Uconnect touchscreen interface, integrated navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, two USB ports, satellite radio, HD Radio and a 2-speaker sound system. A few of the options on this car include 18-speaker audio, leather-Alcantara upholstery, and floor mats. Included is the Demon Crate, which adds a performance powertrain module intended for high-octane fuel, a conical air filter, a hydraulic floor jack, a cordless impact wrench, a torque wrench and, most notably, razor-thin front-runner drag wheels. Drag Mode locks the front brakes and allows the rear wheels to spin up to 200 rotations to clean and warm the tires (and do a rad smokey burnout in the process). The standard TransBrake allows you preload the engines torque, launch control is included, and both the traction and stability control systems have been calibrated to manage all that power and keep you in a straight line. Even with all this drag-racing technology installed, though, the Demon is a still a street-legal, driveable car. There are actually two keys: The red one is used to harness the whole 840-horse shebang. The black key dulls things down to 500 horsepower to make it a little easier to drive the Demon on the road and avoid being thrown in jail by the local constabulary.
