This 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is a must see at Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee. The Mach 1 was only available in a “sports roof body style. Numerous visual and performance items were added to the Mach 1 such as competition suspension, chrome exhaust tips, chrome pop up gas cap, black rear deck spoiler and a matte black hood treatment with hood pins. Due to the success of the Mach 1 the Mustang GT model was discontinued due to low sales versus the Mach 1 in 1969. Our 1973 Ford Mach 1 went through a complete frame off restoration and is painted in bright yellow which accents perfectly with the black hood, spoiler and stripe package. The interior consists of black vinyl high back bucket seats with teak woodgrain door and dash accent panels. Under the hood is a rebuilt Cleveland 351 cubic inch engine with added ram air. The three-speed automatic transmission was recently rebuilt along with the 3:10 rear end. To make the ride more enjoyable this Mustang Mach 1 comes with many options which include power front disk brakes, power steering, AM/FM/Cassette, tilt wheel, and air-conditioning.
