This 1987 Jeep Wrangler is for sale in our Louisville showroom. Internally known as the YJ, the 87-95 was a huge leap for AMC to take from the previous CJ-7 model. In most cases when manufacturers opt for comfort, they lose ruggedness in opt for an easier streetable package. Not in the case of the Jeep Wrangler YJ. The public has been taking these ever dependable machines and converting them to trail eaters and rock crawlers for years. Over time these modified Jeeps get torn up and look a little less than pleasant. Luckily this one has been well taken care of! She is sporting a strong Chevy 350 CID v8 with a Automatic transmission. The rear and front ends are Dana 60 Axles, rear end has 373 gears and the front has Warn locking hubs. This machine is rolling on 17 inch wheels wrapped in 37x13.5 inch Nitto Mud Grapplers. It has 7,000 miles on the build and looks as if it rolled off the showroom floor. Most work has been done by Moab of Louisville, an extremely reputable shop specializing in all things Jeep/Offroad. The blue exterior is in wonderful shape, a big surprise for most Wranglers of this era! The vinyl interior is in amazing condition as is the soft top and quick release doors.
