Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1969 Pontiac LeMans Convertible. This car was originally purchased by the same family who owns it now. Originally ordered in Mayfair Maise, which was a shade of yellow this LeMans was repainted in Limelight green Poly. A 1969 Pontiac color as well. Options include a 265 HP V8, a three speed automatic, power steering and power brakes. Center console with deluxe gear shift knob, and drivers side remote mirror. There is an electric clock, pushbutton AM FM radio with rear speakers, and tinted windshield. Deluxe wheel covers and white wall tires. In 1976 the car was put into storage as the owner moved south and a car without AC was not practical. Some 35+ years later the car received a restoration which included the current paint job. In 2011 the Movie Argo was filmed in the DC area and this car was an extra. Sharing the screen with Ben Aflack the car was featured in numerous scenes of the movie.
