The consignor states this to be a 2 owner car technically - as she was a one owner family car - sold to a dealer - and who he bought her from - being registered with 2 different last names. He states her history of ; bought new in May of 1967 out of Vern Hagestad Motor Company in Denver Colorado, where it had been serviced routinely for the next 20+years. This is a matching numbers engine verified by Porsche N. America. Most car collectors would hope for a find like this - as we know, when someone cares for a car over decades, it shows! In the fall of 1982 the car was sold to the nephew of the original owner in Anchorage Alaska where it was cared for and enjoyed with the same dedication and appreciation as the original owner. The current owner bought this beauty 2.5 years ago, and states she has 97,652-original miles. This 912 had been repainted sometime in the nephews ownership, she is Red with a finish that shows very well, and has some blemishes here and there, showing some wear.
