With the end of the Trans Am in 2002 these cars are getting harder and harder to find in a good condition; however, we are happy to have this low mileage, well cared for Trans Am in our showroom. This sweet ride has less than 54,200 miles on her and is in really good shape. Under the hood is the GM LT1 350 CID V8. This fuel injected 5.7L was the same motor used in the Camaro and Corvette of the same year. This GM power plant was notorious for putting down a power while remaining a very reliable engine. Tied to the power plant is a THM 4L60 four speed automatic transmission which was later replaced by the 4L60e transmission. The rear gear ration on this car is 3.23 which is a good freeway gear without losing too much off the line. The Trans Am has seat belts, antilock brakes, FM/AM radio, cloth interior, driver airbag, power brakes, power steering, power windows, tilt wheel and is numbers matching. The is a one owner car, bought new from the dealer back in 93. These cars are a blast, that is why they are hard to find with low mileage because they are too much fun to drive.
