This Shelby GT500 was manufactured on 4/26/67 and delivered to Stockton Quincy Ford on 9/14/67. Actor Howard Duff leased the GT500 on Sept 15th ,1967 and owned it for 28 years of its life, until it was sold by Judy Duff in 1995 to SAAC rep Bob Johnson. This actual Shelby GT500 was used by Warner Brothers Studios as a test car for the 1968 film Bullitt, Steve Mcqueen sat in this car! Almost everything on this car is original including, undercarriage, suspension, interior, wheels (including 10 spoke spare), original California plates, original warranty card, original bJ-bK carbs, dist, wires, tie downs in box. Also the original rare emissions car with original components intact. Paint was restored by John Schwandtner muscles cars unlimited in 1995, just touch ups there has never been any rust on this vehicle. The 428 engine and 4 speed transmission are also original rebuilt.
