BACKGROUND: The Chevrolet Camaro is an American automobile manufactured by Chevrolet, classified as a pony car and some versions also as a muscle car. It went on sale on September 29, 1966, for the 1967 model year and was designed as a competing model to the Ford Mustang. The car shared its platform and major components with the Pontiac Firebird, also introduced for 1967. platform and was available as a two-door coupé or convertible with 2+2 seating, and a choice of seven different V6 and V8 powerplants. This particular 1968 Chevrolet Camaro has a new 502 8.2L and a new TKO 5-Speed transmission. It has a 10 bolt rear end and a 4:10 gear ratio. The exterior and interior are in very good condition and do not call for any repairs or replacement.
