Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is pleased to present this restored 1974 International Harvester Scout II. The Scout is an off-road vehicle produced by International Harvester from 1961 to 1980. A precursor of more sophisticated SUVs to come, it was created as a competitor to the Jeep, and it initially featured a fold-down windshield. The Scout and second-generation Scout II were produced in Fort Wayne, Indiana, as two-door trucks with a removable hard top with options of a full-length roof, half-cab pickup, and/or soft top. This Scout II features a straight-6 258 CID engine, new paint, nice black bucket front seats, rear bench seat, a brand new SoftTopper top, working gauges, roll bar, black bedliner, lift and suspension kit, Flowmaster exhaust, and JVC bluetooth stereo with a sub in the rear. This Scout II sits on big BFG A/T 285-70 tires mounted on 17†matte black Pro Comp Xtreme wheels with front locking hubs.
