Smith body (#5832) and a final assembly date of March 29th, 1966. It was originally sold at Harry May Chevrolet/Cadillac in Monroe, Michigan. The current owner informs us that the transmission and differential could possibly be numbers-matching as well, although he does not have any documentation to support that belief. We can tell you that the 427 under the hood is very strong and delivers excellent overall performance.Additionally, this 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Roadster has seen extensive upgrades in recent years including fresh paint in the factory color, a new frame, new electric antennae, re-chromed bumpers, new reproduction wheels, a rebuilt carburetor and more.
