The Dodge Dart is a small car that was produced from model year 1960 through 1976 it started as a full size car and ended as a compact car from 1963 to 1976. In 1971 the car received smaller quad tail lamps and the 2 door hardtop was named the Swinger. This 1971 Dart Swinger now has a rebuilt 318 cubic inch V8 with about 1,000 miles on it since that is mated to a 727 automatic transmission and a 8.25 inch rear end. The exterior of the car looks great with a re-paint of the original Dark Gold Metallic color that was only available in 1971. The interior of the car is in fantastic condition keeping the same green color scheme as the exterior with flawless vinyl bench seats and green painted dash with wood grain accents this is no doubt an original 1970s car. This Dart is a great driver with power steering and power brakes it handles like a dream and the 318 in this extremely lightweight car really gets it up and moving, it is by no means a race car but has plenty of power to be a real blast to cruise.
