VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1934 Ford 3 Window for sale in OFallon, Illinois

The Gateway Classic Cars Showroom of Saint Louis is excited to offer this all-steel 1934 Ford 3 Window Coupe 350 for sale. This is very nicely restored classic. Like nearly 100% of our inventory, we are standing by the fact that we found no rust on inspection and it is ready to drive and enjoy on the day you purchase it. This is a California body on genuine 1934 Ford rails. BACKGROUND: Ford produced three cars between 1932 and 1934: the Model B, Model 18 & Model 40. The 1934 Ford was not as substantial a model year change as the previous two years had been, but was made infamous after the Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow fame. The two outlaws were traveling in a stolen 1934 Ford sedan in Bienville Parish, Louisiana, when a heavily armed law enforcement posse opened fire and riddled their car with bullets and buckshot, killing both and bringing an end to the infamous gang. (Source Wikipedia) Perhaps if Bonnie and Clyde had a 1934 Ford like this one with a humming 350 CI out of a 1970 Corvette and a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette independent rear suspension, they could have made a quick turn around and get away. Or maybe the professional painted multi-color flames on the side would have led them to being caught even faster. Nevertheless, if they would have had the air conditioning unit like this one has, they would have died cool. So-called a 3-window because of the two side and one rear windows, this classic is a rare find! The black body paint will not disappoint and the gray-cloth interior still looks like-new, even though it was restored back in 2012. There arent 4,200 miles yet on this engine and transmission. Other unique features include a chrome dropped front axle, CD player, anti-theft system, suicide doors, and wide white-wall tires.
