The Model A was be Fords attempt at combining mass production with exclusivity and was an absolute hit with the public. Model As were the first Ford to use the standard set of driver controls with conventional clutch and brake pedals, throttle, and gearshift. The Model As fuel tank was situated in the cowl, between the engine compartments fire wall and the dash panel. It had a visual fuel gauge, and the fuel flowed to the carburetor by gravity. A rear-view mirror was optional. The Model A was the first car to have safety glass in the windshield. Almost 5 million Model A Fords were produced in 9 different body styles. This beautiful 1931 Ford Model A is powered by the original inline 4-cylinder engine backed by a 3-speed manual transmission and is an absolute blast to drive. The Black exterior is in excellent condition and so is the plush Tan colored cloth interior. The Yellow wire wheels are a great contrast against the Black exterior.
