The Mustang’s styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved widely popular and inspired a host of imitators. This 1965 has undergone some serious work beginning around late 2012/early 2013. It sports a spunky 289 V-8 Engine, which has been bored to .30 over and is mated to an overhauled 3-spd transmission. This 289 has had many high-performance parts added to it, here’s a list of the following upgrades: carburetor, intake, heads, headers, exhaust, & ignition. It also comes with an upgraded braking system, disk in the front, drums in the back, & has an aftermarket power brake booster installed… Making sure this pony won’t run away from you, if you ease up on the reigns and open it up on the road. Both the interior and parchment have been restored with reproduced/period correct “Pony” interior. Another bonus is the current owner stated he has only been running this Mustang on premium gas and synthetic oil since owning.
