Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is pleased to present this beautiful 1949 Plymouth P17 De Luxe Turtleback. These Plymouth De Luxe Turtlebacks with their short wheelbase that measured a mere 111 inches, were only manufactured in postwar 1949 and 1950. All Plymouths for 1949 were powered by a six-cylinder L-head engine that displaced 217.8 cubic-inches. There were four main bearings, solid valve lifters and nearly 100 horsepower on tap. A three-speed manual gearbox was standard. This is a solid body car that has a great interior and exterior. Nice, older restoration with rare original radio included with the car.
