This very straight 1969 Impala has 84,000 actual miles on the odometer, received a glassy respray in Astrell Blue 2 years ago, and the interior was freshened with new carpet, floor mats and window weatherstripping. It is powered by a numbers matching 396 with new 390 horsepower 427 cam, lifters, double roller timing chain, valve seals, and water pump. The transmission is a rebuilt TH400 with 2500 stall converter and deep Derale cooler pan, external transmission cooler, and custom overflow tank. Ignition is Petronix II electronic. The drivetrain is finished off at the back with a 12 bolt positraction rear end with 3.42:1 gearing. A heavy duty rear sway bar stabilizes the ride, and the engine breathes through a throaty custom dual exhaust. The factory air has a new condenser and dryer bottle, and has been converted to R134, but has not been plumbed at this point. The power brakes are front discs with a new master cylinder, hoses, front pads and rear shoes. Inside, the audio is AM/FM from Custom Autosound, and standard features include power steering and tilt wheel. Chevrolet Rally wheels wrapped in 275/60 R15 radials in back and 215/70 R15 radials in the front finish off this great looking Impala.
