VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1967 Chevrolet Corvette for sale in Alpharetta, Georgia

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Atlanta showroom is a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette coupe. This beautiful coupe has a timeless color combination of Red over Black complimented with red line tires! Power comes from a numbers matching 300 horsepower 327 and is backed up by replacement 2 speed automatic transmission. The consignor states the previous owner rebuilt the engine, which has 1,055-miles currently, removed the 4-speed manual transmission, adding the automatic, as well as aftermarket a/c. This was all done in the interest of his wife, so she would enjoy her Vette! Equipment is plentiful and includes leather seats, power steering, power disc brakes, A/C, power windows, AM/FM radio, and CD player. Mileage on the odometer was apparently turned back to zero during rebuild and is showing 1,055. We have marked the mileage as unknown due to lack of documentation. This is an older restoration that still shows very well and would be a great cruiser as is or an easy one to take to the next level and attend some NCRS meets for some judging. The 1967 Corvette is one of the greats as it is the last year of the mid year Corvettes and the last of the original Sting Ray. The mid year Corvettes went through a lot of transformations from 1963 to 1967 including a multitude of engines, the introduction of disc brakes and the big block in 1965, mild aesthetic changes with hoods and louvers and some colors specific to certain years. Some say that 1967 was the best and usually is when considered the last year of any generation as all tweaks for improvement have been made and refined.
